Job Description

Reporting to the Fashion Director, the Assistant Stylist will be responsible for providing support to the styling department along with merchandising and inventory. He/She will ensure proper management and preparation of all product assets.


- Work closely with styling department to ensure styling is consistent with La Garçonne image

- Liaise with the Merchandising and Inventory team to determine photoshoot priorities

- Research designers, brands and products in preparation for each photoshoot

- Assist with organization of samples once received in preparation for shoots

- Assist on-set by preparing garments for the shoot and assist on-set i.e. steaming, taping, pining, tagging, etc.

- Managing fashion closet organization and inventory management

- Assist with Merchandising team in daily product upload

- Cross check images and QA of the site

- Follow company product care guidelines when handling all merchandise

- Excellent at establishing relationships to work closely with modeling agency

- Assistant styling department in daily tasks

- Assistant stylist with editorial projects as required

- Manage all sample pick-ups, returns and loan requests

- Perform general administrative tasks as needed

The Ideal Candidate

- 2+ years styling and on-set experience, preferably in an e-commerce environment

- Degree in Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing or something similar

- Excellent time-management skills- Understanding of fabric construction

- Self starter and strong organizational skills

- Detail oriented

- Strong team player with solid interpersonal skills

- Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while executing multiple tasks at a time
