Job Description

GANNI is looking for a forward thinking, highly organized and passionate Accessories Designer to join our Design department at GANNI HQ in Copenhagen. 

Job description:

  • Assist the Head of Accessories in designing and developing the women’s accessories collections, following product from initial concept creation through to development and prototype stage and fittings creating four annual collections including capsules
  • Ensure alignment on priorities and design direction ideating and designing new styles, silhouettes, and product details
  • Responsible of preparing complete and accurate illustrator sketches, specs sheets, colour combinations, technical drawings of hardware and detail references in order to complete a successful handover to product developer
  • Ensure all presentation boards, folders and overviews are up to date to present to Merchandising team, Head of Design and Creative Director
  • Prepare all material for sketch meetings and final collection meetings
  • Work closely with cross functional teams, especially PD to follow and trouble shoot product life from concept through to production
  • Quickly provide sketch update as line develops
  • Understand and manage critical calendar dates and successfully handle scheduled deadlines

The Ideal Candidate

  • 4-5 years previous experience in Women’s Accessories design at comparable brand
  • Highly skilled in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities at once and working in a fast pace environment
  • Thorough with a strong attention to detail and knowledge of silhouettes, fabrics/leathers, colour use, sewing techniques, graphics and trims
  • Flexible with the ability to self-manage and successful at keeping deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a hands-on and positive attitude
  • Collaborative, team player with great initiative
  • Only applicants with relevant Accessories Design experience will be considered
  • Applicants without portfolio will not be considered
