The Assistant Designer will support Calvin Klein Underwear Design team from initial concept through product delivery.  He or she will support design team members in creation of CADs, decks, artwork development and tech-packs. He or she will work alongside key cross-functional partners throughout the design development process.


  • CAD work for style development and artwork development
  • Tech-pack creation and tech-pack maintenance throughout all stages of design development process
  • Support in the development of presentation decks, merchandising decks
  • Support design team in strategy/concept and line adoption stages
  • Assist in all presentation preparations and during presentations
  • Assist in off-calendar projects, Agility/Speed projects
  • Work cross channels with Global Supply Chain partners for follow up on the development of product
  • Collaborate with Men’s and Women’s Merchandising team
  • Follow up on deliverables and deadlines with all cross-functional partners throughout the season




  • Assistant/freelance/internship experience preferred
  • Knowledge of intimate apparel design and construction preferred

Education: BA/BFA         


  • Exceptional talent with commercial eye and detail in product styling
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and results-oriented
  • Strong communicator and Team player
  • Ability to multi-task, drive for problem solving, and react with speed and agility
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of PLM and building of Bill of Materials
  • Strong CAD skills in creating foundations CADs/Blocks, lace and trim rendering, detailed styling updates, and CAD recolors

& Women’s CKU Merchandising (both regional and global teams), Men’s & Women’s CKU Global Supply Chain, Men’s & Women’s CKU Sales/Planning, and Men’s & Women’s CKU Raw Materials, and CKU Product Strategy & Innovation

External: Factories/Mill partners used for production; lace, elastic, and fabric suppliers
