Job Description

Role Mission
The Copywriter will be primarily responsible for online product descriptions and delivering quality copy in English.
Key Administrative Accountabilities
- Write bulleted product copy to elevate the online experience, drive product desire, improve conversion/sales, and optimize for natural search
- Upload content into the CMS (when applicable) or deliver to technology team for new builds/enhancements
- Do research to find inspiration and missing information on products to enhance editorial descriptions
- Stay up to date on industry standards and trends
- Review all of the English copy to make sure there are no spelling errors or mistakes before being pushed onto the live site
- Cross-check with linelists, glossary and images to make sure copy matches and is error-free
- Provide US Wholesale team with seasonal product copy
- Write/edit copy for new site pages: e.g. newly introduced product categories, materials and care, enhanced functionality such as My Accounts
- Collaborate with Social Media and Marketing teams to deliver a consistent brand language
- Work with Merchandising teams to understand the unique features of each piece and line of products

The Ideal Candidate

Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in creative writing or journalism
- English mother tongue and professional working proficiency for Italian
- 1-2 years copywriting experience for online site
- Creative writer with excellent proofreading and grammar skills
- Working knowledge of fashion terms, fabrications and trends
- Understanding of SEO principles
- Passion for luxury products and fashion
- Enthusiastic, driven and well organized
- Collaborative personality who can contribute to the dialogue of the brand's online voice
