The Role

The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing the Biddable and Digital channel tactics efficiently to steer D+D into an industry leader. You will execute performance marketing campaigns and take ownership over all performance channels. The successful candidate will have a background in PPC/SEO/Paid Search/Social and/or Programmatic channels with strong experience in implementation and agency management. You will be a team player, with a creative flair. You will be able to multi-task efficiently, working well under pressure in fast-paced environments. You will bring an enthusiastic and energetic attitude to teams around you.

The Ideal Candidate

Key Responsibilities

  • Aggressively drive acquisition to achieve our commercial objectives
  • Manage all digital performance channels, including Paid Social, Search, Display, Affiliates.
  • Drive down efficient core cost metrics by implementing sophisticated optimisation strategies
  • Oversee the full digital campaign planning and analysis process with our wider team and agencies
  • Scope the ROI principles for digital media within reporting process
  • Define global budgets across all performance channels and forecast the business contribution of each
  • Define relevant search KPIs to ensure that the overall contribution to revenue and business growth
  • Manage Performance / Programmatic activity across all markets (UK, US, EU, APAC, ROW), including strategy, planning, tracking, reporting, analysis and optimisation to ensure delivery against KPI’s
  • Responsible for campaigns, including bid management, ad-copy testing and keyword optimisation
  • Ensure all performance channels are performing against target & report performance weekly/monthly
  • Ensure campaign data tracking is setup correctly and new data additions are implemented by working with the development agency and eCom team
  • Assimilate and distribute information from analytics to ensure that the agencies are well informed of the background consumer behaviour
  • Work in collaboration with the eCommerce & CRM team.
  • On-page Optimisation and content creation and refinement
  • Work with social media /content team to build effective, targeted paid advertising campaigns across social channels
  • Perform on-going keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation of dynamic search, remarketing and core campaigns
  • Execute tests, collect and analyse data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI across paid search campaigns
  • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes through constant auditing
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and system developments and implement accordingly

Key Skills & Experience

  • A proven background in Paid Search, Display, Paid Social and Affiliates
  • Fundamental understanding of search engine marketing (Paid, Social, Content) and how it impacts SEO
  • Outcome-focused. Has demonstrable experience setting and achieving KPIs that drive business results
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Data Studio, Tag Manager and analytics tools
  • Confidence in implementing multiple biddable campaigns, including structure, ad copy writing and keyword research
  • Comfortable with UTM’s and technical campaign prep
  • A collaborative colleague who communicates and works well within a team environment
  • Exceptional Excel proficiency
  • E-Commerce experience in Retail is a bonus + B2C campaign planning and analysis
