Job Description

The role:

You’ll join a world-class product design team who are disrupting the luxury fashion industry. We are setting the precedent for how brands and boutiques operate, connecting the in-store and online experience and creating a new level of service, which will change provider and customer expectations across the world.  

We are looking for a Design Operations Lead to help shape how the team operates, revolutionizing our working practices and strengthening our team culture. 

What you’ll do: 

  • You’ll be working alongside the Design Operations Manager and the Platform Product Design Team to facilitate agile and lean practices including planning, retrospectives, managing the roadmap of activities and measuring impact
  • You’ll build a creative and collaborative environment with healthy communication, engaging teams with regular forums to learn, share ideas and grow
  • You’ll identify bottlenecks and opportunities to optimise and iterate both working practices and tools to amplify speed and quality of execution
  • You’ll improve documentation, information sharing, tool usage within and across teams
  • You’ll create channels for closer working relationships between design and other disciplines
  • You’ll help to manage how people are allocated to projects, 
  • You might be supporting designers directly in managing high priority initiatives 

The Ideal Candidate

Who you are: 

  • You are passionate about user-centred product and service design, tech and emerging ideas in the field
  • You are exceptionally organized, creative problem solver who understands the value of testing and adapting based on evidence and user needs
  • You are comfortable in environments of rapid growth and change, able to operate autonomously and make trade-offs
  • You are someone who is empathetic and a clear communicator who can adjust their style to suit multiple audiences and channels
  • You are great at building relationships and able to influence across locations, cultures and disciplines
  • You are willing to travel to Portugal and other global offices as and when needed (usually once every few months)

You have:

  • Strong project/programme management, agile coaching or relevant experience in a multidisciplinary product team or digital agency
  • Desireable - a track record of building communities of practice or self-organizing teams around a common goal
  • Experience or knowledge of eCommerce or Enterprise software is a plus
