Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an E-Commerce Insight Analyst to join our E-commerce Team. This role reports to Senior E-Commerce Regional Trading Manager and is based within our Head Office in London. This role will be responsible for owning and managing online analytics, working cross-functionally to optimise the customer journey to provide our customers with the best possible journey and driving conversion.

Key Responsibilities and Duties


  • Support and work within the data landscape to support the business with data-led decision making
  • Work across E-Commerce to create a suite of automated, actionable reports and dashboards in order to benchmark website/product performance against key KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Be a super-user for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager with responsibility for the optimisation of GA and all site tagging
  • Lead in analysing online customer behaviour, using Google Analytics and other analytical tools such as Session Cam etc. to identify customer behaviour patterns and identify recommendations for enhancements to customer journey
  • Have a constant eye on our competitors and the future by highlighting potential opportunities and make recommendations for change as part of a continuous feedback loop
  • Make recommendations for and run A/B tests providing actionable insights
  • Assist in the delivery of on-site personalisation

The Ideal Candidate

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Commercial E-Commerce experience - retail and luxury desirable
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and other Google products
  • Google Analytics qualification (GAIQ) - desirable
  • High numerate with strong IT and analytical software skills and expert level Excel
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript - desirable
  • Working knowledge of SEO optimisation tools - desirable
  • Great written English skills
  • Good attention to detail
