Job Description

Job Description:

The Digital Content Coordinator will work with the Director of Marketing and creative marketing and e-commerce teams and is responsible for creating innovative approaches to raising engagement through digital and social channels.

Creative:

•       Develop a social media and digital marketing strategy and conceptualize how key campaigns, initiatives and product can translate on social and digital channels

•       Conceptualize, create and commission original content

•       Devise creative solutions to promoting product, whilst increasing audience engagement

•       Be reactive to the current cultural landscape

•       Collaborate with team in creating copy for emails, website product and printed collateral

•       Research collaborations or special projects that would contribute to the digital conversation surrounding the brand, work with the PR agency to engage and develop those relationships 

•       Collaborate with Art Director and marketing team to fill content needs

Reports to Shaye Vercollone, Sr. Director Marketing & Communications

Execution:

•       Create and manage the social content calendar and work collaboratively alongside all departments to align it with the marketing strategy

•       Conceptualize and execute posts (2-3 per day) that resonate with current and potential followers

•        Research competitor social strategies

•       Send weekly dashboard to the team highlighting previous weeks’ activity (i.e. most liked/shared posts, most comments, increase in followers on all channels, etc.)

•       ID role of brand and non-brand search and work with E-Commerce team to develop strategy

Analysis:

•       Analyze campaigns and anecdotal / qualitative data

•       Using analytics and key metrics in order to shape strategy

•       Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

•       Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media campaigns

•       Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

•       3 years of experience in a social and digital media role, ideally at a fashion label

•       Strategic thinker that is able to conceptualize a strategy to support overall goals

•       Social / digital media savvy and strong knowledge of platform specific strategies and success metrics

•       Strong knowledge and ability to stay abreast of key industry and social media trends, platforms, tools and emerging technologies

•       Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with others

•       Strong organization, project management skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and attention to detail

•       Strong qualitative and analytical skills

•       Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology, third party market research tools and google analytics
