The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing will be responsible for planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns supporting the Louis Vuitton, Americas’ from collaborative ideation of local initiatives to adaptation of global marketing to ensure an engaging, consistent and seamless messaging delivered across all touchpoints (SEM, Email, Organic Social, and site marketing). He/she must be hands-on, flexible, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and working collaboratively with both the NY based local team and Paris HQ teams. This person is both data driven (utilizing multiple internal data systems to measure marketing performance) and creative. He/she will providing original research and benchmarking industry best practices, to ensure the most effective digital presentation of the brand, providing an experience that is consistent with Louis Vuitton’s exceptional standards.
Working within a dynamic and highly collaborative culture, this role will be responsible for the on-brand, on-strategy execution and oversight local actions by translating global marketing strategies into creative concepts consistent with the Louis Vuitton standard, aesthetic and voice. Working closely with external agencies and cross functional team members, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of various digital marketing channels, including Paid Search, Email, and Social Media. This position will require the ability to operate on both strategic and tactical levels, translating vision to execution. The right candidate will have hands on expertise, preferably in an eCommerce and mobile focused environment, a track record of leveraging changes in consumer behavior, as well as a passion for the Louis Vuitton brand. This role reports to the Digital Director.
The Ideal Candidate
We are eager to speak to professionals that hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business and 6-8 years in similar capacity: brand, retailer, or agency with strong focus on communications and content. This person will be driven by brand and business metrics, particularly ROI, to deliver traffic, revenue, and engage existing and new customers to the brand. Should be an experienced digital marketing manager with a creative & entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of urgency and drive for results. Direct experience executing channel strategies is preferred as well as someone who is an effective communicator and presenter; crafts compelling presentations and presents confidently at a senior level.
This person should have strong analytic and insight skills; the ability to deep dive data and translate into actionable recommendations and possesses strong influence skills, the poise and the ability to gain alignment and investment from stakeholders. Must have luxury brand sensibility in terms of content, visuals, copy and client experience.
