Job Description

The Order Management Systems (OMS) Manager is responsible to support Ralph Lauren Omni Channel Business Units (E-Commerce, Retail, Wholesale etc.) with technology solutions related to OMS. In this role, the Manager will be responsible for quality of architecture, defining the functional and technical requirements, managing the OMS processes and systems, application design, and solution delivery and support.

Independently handle the overall OMS architectural design and provide recommendations to improve the performance,scalability and reliability. Lead, Manage and Support on all required aspects of the OMS system architecture and their impact on the integration with other systems within the Ralph Lauren application topology. Troubleshoot application problems and propose optimal resolutions for business critical problems. Ensure quality deliverables by implementing, managing and ensuring consistent design, development, testing and deployment practices. Planning and managing after go-live activities including ongoing application support Manage all Change Requests and the overall OMS Change Management process.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong understanding of OMS platform, specifically Shared Inventory Management and Order Management solution.

  • Prior full life cycle implementations experience with Order Management solutions.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education

  • Ability to analyze the business requirements,identify gaps and suggest solution around OMS with minimum customization.

  • Technical knowledge of integrating OMS with other systems within Ralph Lauren application topology.

  • Experience working with onshore and offshore reporting environment.

  • Experience in Retail and/or Fashion processes is a plus.

  • IBM Sterling Order Management Systems certification is preferred.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Ability to partner with Service Organizations to increase customer service satisfaction around owned processes and applications

  • Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation and business relationship skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and excellent time management skills.
