Job Description

The mission for the role is to design and execute a comprehensive learning design strategy for product and brand across all Gucci retail training channels, with special emphasis on digital

Key Accountabilities

Training Content Strategy and Taxonomy

  • Partner with all the key functions / all regions to collect, analyse, definite and consolidate the training needs (DOS, Outlet, Travel Retail, WH, Client Service) in order to design a comprehensive and adaptive learning content taxonomy for product and brand
  • Orchestrate contents / channels best alignment with particular focus on digital training channels and experience (online, virtual classroom, microlearning, etc)
  • Define processes for continuous reviews and updates of content taxonomy

Training Content Development

  • Design training content based on target users, business objectives and channel / technology
  • Define and maintain an efficient and effective process to source content from SMEs with minimum disruption to business
  • Develop high quality / high impact training content (internally / externally)
  • Define and update content development strategy and standards
  • Drive innovation in training content design and development
  • Define training content development plan (all media) and project manage progress and deliverable quality
  • Research, select and manage content development suppliers
  • Align and coordinate with external partners providers (eg. Kering Eyewear, Beauty, Jewellery, etc) in order to ensure a consistent learning experience in store
  • Alignment and coordinate localization and regional production initiative

Training deployment, delivery and measurement

  • Deploy strategic content on product and brand to training community to transfer key knowledge and use of training tools (TTT)
  • Deliver training on product and brand during high priority training events
  • Define KPIs for content quality and effectiveness and continuous monitoring
  • Ensure timely availability of all training contents in alignment with business needs, training calendar and regional / local needs.

Report to business and training stakeholders on training delivery, impact and value

  • Min. 10 yrs in the fashion / luxury retail Industry (ideally including Retail shopfloor background)
  • Experience in dealing with global senior stakeholders in a complex matrixed environment
  • Previous experience of 5 years in international training departments and/or in roles where training and developing others was part of the job mission
  • Has successfully led global complex projects in the learning/training area
  • Digital fluency and attitude
  • Knowledge of adult learning techniques, learning techniques and didactic
  • Proven experience of presentation and people development
  • Experience in Digital Learning: strong expertise on learning system implementation, digital content design and implementation
  • Good analytics approach
  • International experience and strong cultural sensitivity
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is appreciated.
