Job Description

Job Mission:

To guarantee a complete overview and to drive all key HR processes by ensuring partnership with HQs HR Functions. S/He directly deals with implementation of HR projects and policies within the area falling under her/his remit, with strong focus in new store openings.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Participates in the definition of annual HC budget according to HQs guidelines, both for Corporate Staff and Stores Personnel.
  • Liaises with HQs in order to draw up forecasting analysis and reviews.
  • Draws up and updates all HR reports according to HQs requirements.
  • Monitors Labor costs and transfers all relevant information to CEO and HQs.

Recruitment & Selection:

  • Constantly analyzes staffing needs and if necessary forecasts new positions and job rotations.
  • Manages all levels of Personnel Selection up to managerial positions, constantly liaising with Line Managers and according to HC budget and HQs guidelines.
  • Sets up the recruitment process by using company tools and according to the schedule defined.
  • Chooses the proper recruitment channels based on the required profiles, always preferring autonomous recruitment and scouting, and ensuring fast and effective process.
  • Negotiates all terms and conditions with Head Hunting Companies in agreement with the guidelines set by HQs.
  • Monitors the recruitment budget for the area falling under her/his remit.
  • Conducts job interviews, personally and along with Line Managers.
  • Organizes and updates a database of contacts and candidates.
  • Arranges and monitors the induction process of new employees and their probation period.
  • Oversees staffing process for new store openings according to organizational model defined.
  • Establishes and develops external relationships with universities and training institutions. Deals with all employer branding activities.

Training:

  • Liaises with Accademia in order to identify training needs.
  • Evaluates and analyzes training effectiveness and transfers all relevant information to CEO and Accademia.

HQs Guidelines & Policies:

  • Reviews the company policies to make them consistent with local government regulations.
  • Trains the Line Managers and Employees on Company policies and their updates.
  • Shares best HR practices with HQs, stimulating new ideas.

HR Management:

  • Monitors, manages and if necessary transfers to CEO any Personnel needs and enquiries.
  • Explains and clarifies to employees HR processes in order to create a happy working environment and support corporate identity.
  • Liaises with Unions and handles Staff grievances.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Liaises with local payroll provider in order to administer monthly payroll.
  • Oversees the process of salary review with Management Team and in agreement with the guidelines set by HQs.
  • Coordinates the assignment of benefits according to company policies.
  • Monitors salaries and benefits of employees always ensuring balance between internal equity/budget and market, and according to HQs guidelines.

Performance Appraisal & Careers Development:

  • Coordinates annual MBO process and mid-year reviews according to HQs guidelines.
  • Manages in close coordination with Retail Director the rewarding system of Sales Personnel.
  • Identifies in close coordination with HQs HR the development potential of employees and designs career plans of talents
