Job Description

Position Overview:

Responsibilities will include assisting Michael Kors and Capri business units with monitoring and maintaining compliance with global privacy rules, regulations and standards, and attend to various legal compliance matters, privacy training, developing and enforcing established policies, and identifying the need for new guidance/training.  Primary responsibilities will also include handling a wide variety of transactional matters for the company’s business units in the areas of technology, outsourcing, service, digital, advertising, ecommerce, retail and data. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Transactional law and Privacy and Legal Compliance. 

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide contextual Michael Kors Budgeting and Forecasting expertise and knowledge and participate in all Hyperion Planning workshops
  • Review data conversion strategy as it relates to legacy Hyperion Planning application to future Hyperion Planning application
  • Review and update reconciliation templates to ensure Hyperion Planning contains the right data hierarchies
  • Provide final sign-off on all historical data in Hyperion Planning
  • Liaise with HFM team to conduct end to end testing
  • Provide guidance and support on stakeholder engagement
  • Review all deliverables and provide sign off
  • Help with risk mitigation & issue resolution strategies
  • Review Hyperion Planning training admin and user guides
  • Attend training sessions to ensure power users are adequately trained
  • Provide feedback on Go- Live readiness
  • Conduct budget and forecasting activities in Hyperion Planning and in the legacy system to ensure Hyperion Planning operates as expected

The Ideal Candidate


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • B.S. or above degree in Accounting
  • CPA a plus
  • Experience in a FP&A role managing several direct reports
  • 6-10 years of professional experience with a public/private company mix preferred
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly
  • Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong initiative and a process improvement mindset
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Hyperion Planning and/or Essbase experience required
  • SAP experience preferred
  • JDE experience a plus
