Job Description

The person who will hold this position will answer to the CEO, and will mainly deal with:

  • Planning of the production cycle from the sample to the production
  • Management of BOMs and definition of sales price lists with calculation of margins and negotiation of costs with suppliers and creation of individual costing sheets
  • Preparation of the production program, including the co-ordination with suppliers, mills and the internal Dundas Team
  • Ensure the definition of the production schedule, management of the flow including the definition of the delivery plans, in line with the expected arrival of the materials and the final garments
  • Supervision of production activities based on what is planned
  • Assure management and monitoring of production orders to ensure compliance with the defined delivery and prepare the forecast progress reports to be provided to the CEO and Commercial Dept
  • Management of production documents (production orders, technical sheets) ensuring all fiscal and procedural processes are followed.
  • Interface with the purchasing department and suppliers for procurement planning including but not excluding packaging, labelling,  fabrics and trims
  • Interface with Sales office for planning the production goods sold defined by the priorities as requested and agreed with the customer.

SUPPLIERS 

  • Management of existing supplier relationships and negotiations
  • Sourcing of new suppliers of both existing categories and new categories in line with the expansion of the brand
  • Management of relationships and negotiations with suppliers of raw materials and technical intervention

The Ideal Candidate

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of planning and execution of samples through production and final delivery to the client 
  • Skills in the control and monitoring of production processes including QC and management of flow, delivery and schedule
  • Fluent Italian and English required
  • Good negotiation skills, entrepreneurial and a team player
  • Clean Driving license and ability to Drive in Italy
