Louis Vuitton is recruiting for a Distribution Planning Manager based in our New York office who will be responsible for managing the forecast and inventory of Ready-to-Wear to support the sales in their network of stores. This will be accomplished through the use of analytical skills and market knowledge to monitor distribution, proactively contribute to meeting sales target, and ensure appropriate availability rate with optimal stock level.
As a highly experience Distribution Planner, you will work closely with the store network to ensure an open dialogue on product trends, controlling the availability of product, and forecast service rates while also managing the inventory flow for store openings and events. Other main responsibilities include organizing new product launches, identifying opportunity of product rebalancing within the network, and working with the Demand Planning team for inventory level and deployment strategies. In addition, you will implement initiatives based on your analyses for target stock adjustments and stock re-balance to maximize sell through.
As an expert in supply chain, you will collaborate closely with Merchandising, Logistics, and the Customs Department to solve for distribution challenges and you will be the main point of contact for stores within your network to meet objectives. Working collaboratively with the other members of the Supply Chain team, you will support your colleagues on special projects that are being executed to improve overall departmental functions.
The Ideal Candidate
We are eager to speak to professionals with a minimum of three years’ experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Planning & Analysis who have a proven track record of working in supply chain that thrive working in a fast paced, evolving and best in class organization. You will be highly driven, analytical, are able to foster positive professional relationships, and possess both exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate has exceptional abilities in Excel, has prior experience with SAP, and ideally works in Power BI and Access.
