This digital marketing manager role is a unique opportunity in a globally oriented, growing company where you can join on a mid-senior level and make a difference in the life of the brand and further develop your marketing skills as well as coach the team under you. You’ll be part of the broader marketing team reporting to the marketing director. You will be responsible to bind together, plan, monitor and optimize our paid media initiatives across various platforms. This includes the day-to-day monitoring of campaigns across different channels with the help of a digital marketing executive. This role involves liaison with other business areas within the company and also close cooperation with our appointed media agency.  Analytical, problem solving and creative skills and knowledge on the latest online marketing trends and technologies are required for this position. Main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Own the paid media strategy for the Nanushka brand
  • Be the technical - digital - data expert in the marketing team alongside the other digital marketer
  • Plan, execute, monitor and optimize paid media campaigns across various platforms
  • Work closely with the marketing and other internal teams to ensure all Nanushka marketing activities are aligned and executed properly on all paid digital channels
  • Overseeing the online paid media budget, keeping track of spendings
  • Identifying new untapped opportunities for online advertising, marketing automation, etc 
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on them
  • Coordinate the campaign execution and optimization with the appointed media agency to improve online sales results
  • Coordinate paid creative and copy developments with the graphic designers and copywriters
  • Drive the email marketing strategy, with special focus on database building and introducing new automation opportunities
  • Identify new untapped opportunities for online advertising, marketing automation, etc 
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on them
  • Experiment and test strategies to drive conversions and online traffic results
  • Support the marketing director in all things digital & technology, while being one of the senior members of the marketing team
  • Manage all Asana tasks within the system and coordinate marketing related deadlines with the rest of the team

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set and experience:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • 6-8 years relevant work experience in online marketing with demonstrated success (agency, Freelance or in-house background also preferred)
  • Experience in planning, executing and optimizing performance and branding campaigns on various platforms at a global scale, such as Google AdWords, Instagram and Facebook , Pinterest, Twitter and Criteo. Also, executing email, social media and display campaigns, working with Affiliate platforms and having hands-on experience in SEO is a pro
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Knowledgeable insight into the creative process of ad development and working with various visual formats, storytelling through text, imagery and video
  • Creative thinking and expertise in strategic planning and bringing out of the box digital marketing ideas to the table
  • Proven ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects while meeting deadlines; willingness to dive into a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
  • A positive and upbeat team-player with practical relationship-building, collaboration skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in working with fashion, designer brands is a pro
  • Having the right strategic and operative balanced experience
  • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
  • Experience in people management: managing and mentoring direct reports
  • Organized, precise and respectful of timeframes
  • Confident, flexible, energetic and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Self-reliant and results oriented
  • Works independently, yet collaboratively and most importantly proactively
  • Strong computer skills (Google docs, Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, Slack)
  • Interest in Contemporary Culture: Fashion, Design, Photography
  • Excellent communication and language skills (outstanding written, editing, and verbal) 
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Available to work full time, willingness to relocate to Budapest
