Department and Team

Grounded in consumer centricity, The Consumer Insights & Brand Strategy Team’s aim is to secure a growth-focused strategic brand framework, enabling coherent investment decision-making, driving sales and equity. We have 3 key pillars:

  1. Consumer Insights
  2. Brand Strategy (strategy content, frameworks and articulation development)
  3. Brand Strategy Planning (deployment of the Brand Strategy)

The Position

The purpose of this role is to manage the newly-created Brand Council Process,implement and track the KPIs agreed for implementation, build and manage the projects that emerge from the Brand Council,both within the brand strategy department and in the business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Brand Council Calendar and agenda for each meeting, working with the Director, Brand Strategy Planning, to prepare material and tools for effective facilitation
  • Capture and communicate the content from the Brand Council needed to secure the communication within the Council and the company at large
  • Implement, track and report on the KPI framework – both with respect to the work flows and the content creation – to feed into regular CEO updates
  • Work with Consumer Insights and Brand Strategy to prepare the strategic analysis required to secure an up-to-date view on brand performance, as well as the appropriate analysis framework to make informed investment choices
  • Develop the brand strategy presentation material in collaboration with the Brand Strategists for use in high-visibility, senior stake holder meetings
  • Ad-hoc support on brand strategy development projects

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Ability to forge relationships internally and externally, with a proven track-record of motivating teams
  • Flexible to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in distilling complex work into simple, clear presentations
  • Project management skillset and ability to problem-solve creatively
  • Planning experience, preferably in retail and/or consumer space
  • Analytical mindset

 You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of corporate finance, strategy, consulting or analytics experience
  • Excellent communication skills, business-fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Masterful expertise in Excel, Power Point, Keynote
  • Strong information and visual design skills
