Job Description

Totême is looking for a senior brand and communications professional to join our team in Stockholm. As Brand and Comms Director, you will be a member of the management team and play a key role in our ongoing growth journey. You will be responsible for our public perception, developing and executing Totême’s brand and communications strategy at global level.


  • Further develop Totême as a modern, unique and exciting international player in the digital fashion and lifestyle market
  • Create, manage and implement a cohesive brand and communications strategy
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints globally
  • Increase the authenticity of the brand, extend our reach and build awareness
  • Set clear objectives, deliver results and follow-up
  • Contribute with knowledge from the brand and communications sphere, such as techniques, tools and platforms
  • Collaborate closely with our founders and actively contribute to management with knowledge and analysis
  • Spread knowledge internally and drive associated development projects
  • Lead, develop and motivate the brand and communications team. Attract and recruit new team members as the company expands in Sweden and internationally
  • Be responsible for the development and execution of all creative aspects of the brand at a global level
  • Direct and initiate the timely development of innovative, creative and relevant design, based on marketing objectives both globally and locally
  • Conceptualize, produce and execute on-brand creative content for all platforms, in collaboration with the team

The Ideal Candidate

Experience and background:

  • A creative leader with a deep understanding of digital and physical landscapes
  • Experience from leading and developing a strong entrepreneurial organization with a focus on expansion, preferably within a similar fashion and lifestyle brand
  • Experience managing marketing teams across creative, PR, campaign activation, social media and content
  • Demonstrated experience conceptualizing and executing impactful, engaging creative across platforms including digital, social and retail. The ability to understand business objectives to guide execution.
  • Excellent creative and conceptualization skills with an ability to adapt to established styles as well as create new ones.
  • Must be able to understand and articulate a strategic/360 creative brief 
  • Deep understanding and experience in graphic design, art direction, photography, video conception, UX/UI digital technology and print design standards
  • Experience from building and developing a successful team
  • Experience from working with a strong lifestyle brand is crucial

  • Passionate about Totême as a brand with an understanding for the visual aesthetics and branding
  • Fluent in English
