About the department:

Consisting of more than 100 people split across 10 teams, we look after both digital and brand marketing. We're a team of experts across Performance Marketing, SEO, CRM, Analytics and Data Science Advertising Sales, Editorial, Online Communications, PR & Brand Events and Creative. Working across all of the global markets, we make sure Farfetch remains high and mighty with both new and existing customers; all the while setting the brand apart from our competitors and making sure we are always one step ahead of the curve.

The role:

We are looking for a Marketing Production Assistant to join the Marketing Production team at Farfetch, a new function within the Marketing organisation. This team is responsible for the day to day content management across multiple channels such as the site and the apps. You will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth operation of regular website and app content updates as well as managing end-to-end production activities. As part of the team responsible for the content upload globally across the Farfetch website and apps, you will be ensuring consistency and accuracy across all the Farfetch subfolders and channels. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that the content we create across all of marketing is maintained and managed.

Ideally, you will have proven experience in this field either agency side, or within a high volume marketing production function. Having outstanding organisational skills is key for this role, as well as being a great communicator. 

What you’ll do:

Content management

  • You will be responsible for the content upload across website & apps globally for the homepage, landing pages, POS (point of sale) and meganav through an in-house CMS 
  • You will be scheduling content to go live accordingly with campaign launch times
  • You will undertake QA Testing before launch, analysing, troubleshooting and effectively communicating any issues
  • You will support Trade activities, Brand campaigns and seasonal moments
  • You will support on making minimal changes or re-sizing assets when necessary

Project and process management

  • You will create a process for managing the copywriting schedule and collecting of translations from content writers/translators in the business on specific projects
  • You will be responsible for other production activities including localisation projects
  • Own and manage processes and reporting with cross-functional partners for tracking and monitoring content performance and accuracy
  • Conduct content audits and gap analysis, and use findings to develop recommendations to improve content creation/operations
  • Work with cross-functional teams and collaborate with designers, copywriters, translators and product marketers
  • Gather and share content management best practices across all the Marketing organization
  • Ensure consistent taxonomy is used across tools and systems

  • You have experience in Content Management Systems and Quality Assurance, managing high volumes of content for global teams

  • You have a good understanding of the wider fashion industry
