Pringle of Scotland are now recruiting for a Social Media Executive dedicated to communicating our products digitally, increasing awareness of our brand and design ideas, together with a passion for a Company with a rich 200 year history.
The candidate will have the ability to influence, develop and communicate a multichannel marketing approach using digital platforms.
You will combine strategic initiative with an ability to translate it into great content for our fans. Your attitude will incorporate both ‘thinker’ and ‘doer’ approach, just as we integrate innovation and heritage.

The Ideal Candidate
Execute and manage social media strategy in order to increase the brand awareness and grow our digital community
Work closely with Head of Marketing and Communication to develop and create a content calendar across key social platforms to support marketing strategy and its initiatives. To develop KPI’s and results reporting for this calendar
Work closely with our E-Commerce team to monitor social diagnostics in order to make informed decisions in respect of developing the most impactful social media approach
Manage the day to day of all Pringle’s digital channels including the sign off process internally with key stakeholders
Collaborate with both E-Commerce and Merchandising teams on category presence in social postings ensuring availability of the product at key seasonal points
Provide live social support on site at key events and assist with ‘brand moments’
Coordinate the production of social assets, thinking with a "social first" attitude, manage the usage of the assets and associated copy
Deliver and optimise against all agreed social media KPIs
Manage and deliver social media response system for all contacts and queries via all social platforms
Identify and manage opportunities for social engagement with communities, influencers and content creators
Work with performance agency to deliver prospecting and retargeting advertising
Liaise with our external partners to develop effective monthly social reports
4 years of experience at the Executive level in a social media related field
Experience working for a fashion or luxury retailer within the digital space is essential
Proven experience of creating engaging digital marketing content and strong social media knowledge as well as holistic view of entire customer journey
Experience with social media content management tools and analytics platforms
A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to roll up the sleeves to make a dynamic contribution to a small but busy team
The ability to work and be assertive when necessary, with multiple stakeholders and teams
The ability to manage and prioritise a busy schedule and workload, as well as to enjoy working independently
Excellent organisation, project management and multitasking skills
Ability to think ‘outside the box’
