The Retention Marketing Team is responsible for managing the customer contact strategy, lifecycle, and end to end execution for all digital retention channels – Email, Mobile, and Site. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the Retention Marketing team’s project roadmap by coordinating activities and resources in support of all email, site targeted content, and APP Push projects. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and ultimately, successful completion of projects to ensure consistency with team strategy, commitment, and company initiatives. Additional responsibilities will include project management across the projects team and the ability to analyze data and provide recommendations based on the results. Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator must work well with cross functional teams within the organization and with our vendor partners. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with team subject matter experts, product managers, technology, and other project managers across departments to accomplish project objectives within hard deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordination, completion and execution of Retention Marketing projects. The Marketing Coordinator will: Update and manage overall project roadmap for Retention Marketing. Support creation of project plans and monitor overall project progress. Maintain a record of the resources and deliverables and plan work according. Support strategy to improve marketing email communication execution and messaging strategy by incorporating more personalization, dynamic content, and send time optimization. Update email and push creative assets as needed. Demonstrate & exercise thought leadership to improve processes & workflows and provide feasible solutions. Stay informed on project issues with urgency and engage the appropriate resources as needed. Escalate any significant issues to the appropriate management team as needed. Support weekly status reports containing milestones, accomplishments, risks, and issues. Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, resolve issues, share project hindsight reports, and support change management policies. Document and track project risks proactively and create mitigation plans for serious risks. Build relationship and confidence with stakeholders. Be prepared with Project Status for owned projects in a group setting. Ability to gain understanding of each project, ask thoughtful and informed questions for clarification. Ability to stay organized and be on-time with project deliverables and follow ups. Pull, review and document metrics and performance of key KPI’s of owned projects. Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality. Decision Making Ability to problem solve when late changes or workflow issues arise. Partner with team members when making recommendations to business stakeholders. Qualifications: Education/Experience: BA/BS college degree is required; concentration in Marketing is a plus. 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or project management. 2-4 years of experience in online marketing preferred. Communication Skills: Self-starter with strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills. Ability to escalate issues and pushback as needed. Strong ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to define business requirements and mitigate issues, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery of results. Strong organizational and presentation skills. Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and analytical skills. Reasoning Ability: Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions. Physical Demands: This position involves regular ambulating, sitting, hearing, and talking. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Involves use of hands and fingers for typing on keyboard and using a mouse. Other Skills: Highly skilled in meeting deadlines and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Good Project Management skills including project charts, project scope, requirements gathering, status reporting, issue tracking, hindsight reporting, change management, and communication planning. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of efficiency. Good leadership and interpersonal skills. Self-starter with a strong initiative. Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize. Demonstrate a desire to improve and grow, willingly take on project tasks and volunteer for opportunities outside of project responsibilities. Proficient in Knowledge of email, mobile, digital and direct marketing methods. Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Relationship Skills Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a cross-functional, team-based environment. Ability to independently handle and filter issues and questions from various teams. S/he can manage shifting operational and project deadlines in a cross-functional and collaborative environment. Management Skills Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with various deadlines simultaneously. Ability to maintain and enforce documentation. Ability to identify, resolve, and escalate issues, challenging the status quo when appropriate. Analytical Skills Strong analytic and problem-solving skills a must. Heavy focus on quality assurance and high attention to detail are essential to success. Technical Skills Demonstrable computer skills and aptitude/passion for technology, including proficiency with MS Office and database applications are a must. Experience or knowledge of HTML and database applications is a strong plus. Work Hours: Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
