  The Manager, Marketing Systems is a key member of Macy’s Marketing Systems organization, with responsibility for driving marketing technology solutions, capabilities delivery and business support in Marketing, Web & App Analytics and Experimentation. This role will report to Director, Personalization and Marketing Solutions.   The ideal candidate is a strong analytics leader with hands-on technical experience building and supporting analytics and data solutions. He/She will partner with Senior Marketing leadership and end users in defining needs for Web & Mobile App Analytics, Marketing Analytics and partner integration and work to enable collaboration with business & technology teams, external technology providers, analytics and various other business functions and will assist the organization with projects that require capabilities available through Digital Marketing solution stack . Perform other duties as assigned.   Essential Functions: Manage and coach team responsible for web and mobile app analytics implementation, marketing pixels and experimentation. Work with product and marketing analytics teams to collect and prioritize tagging requirements and create technical specifications for the engineering team to implement. Own data governance to ensure data consistency across the data collection platforms. Own the tag management solution’s architecture and implementation patterns and manage all third-party tagging requests. Provide consultative direction to the engineering, product and analytics teams around best practices and standards around analytics data collection and technical aspects of tag management. Develop innovative strategies for tracking and tagging on web and mobile apps and partner with engineering team to define and oversee quality assurance testing activities to ensure accurate and efficient data collection. Partner with engineering team to diagnose issues with existing tagging configuration and tags, and to provide recommendations for improvement. Partner with engineering team on the data layer implementation on site and mobile apps. Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices and changes in analytics platforms, and identify how they impact and can grow the capability. Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.   Qualifications :    Education/Experience: BA/BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. 4+ years of experience with implementation of Web and Mobile App Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Localytics and IBM Digital Analytics Coremetrics. 3+ years of experience with Tag Management tools such as Tealium and Ensighten and implementations of tags. 3+ years hands on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL and various debugger tools. Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) and AB testing tools (Optimizely, Adobe Test Target, etc. Experience with Marketing Channels (SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Display, etc), Marketing Analytics reporting, Marketing Attribution (Last Click, Multi Touch, etc) and Marketing Technology solutions. Technical proclivity to learn new systems / technology for future incorporation or integration to the marketing and analytics solution sets. Experience with optimizing high trafficked web pages for Performance - internet and retail/ecommerce experience strongly a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to assure common understanding and timely problem-solving. Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and analytical skills. Reasoning Ability: Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions. Physical Demands: This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.  Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
