Position Overview:

The Global Advertising Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Michael Kors Advertising team and media activity.  This consists of print, digital, outdoor and any new and emerging media.  This entails day-to-day thoughtful execution working with departments including but not limited to retail, creative services, licensing, finance and Michael Kors local marketing teams across the globe.  Teamwork, time management, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are critical aspects of this position’s responsibilities.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Utilize internal media planning system to input, update and monitor the visual creative rotation by country globally
  • Update seasonal insertion numbers by magazine and country for various presentations to senior management and archival purposes
  • Assist in tracking all creative layouts from Creative Services internal team to outside agency to the media vendor’s Production House to ensure on time delivery to all media vendors
  • Process all departmental invoices: expedite approval, file and send to accounts payable through internal system
  • Track and record all processed invoices to gain understanding of current balance of budget in preparation for monthly finance meetings
  • Manage Global Print Media Archive 
  • Lead competitive research by using DMR Tracking and Reporting and Moat 
  • Create all advertising specific presentations including but not limited to departmental recaps, specific campaign recaps, seasonal recaps, division head and ad hoc presentations as requested
  • Create and submit Board of Directors statement on behalf of Advertising each month
  • Update and manage media partner and Michael Kors international team contact lists
  • Track all Michael Kors print positions in annual log globally
  • Schedule outside media rep meetings for all Advertising team members
  • Book meeting spaces for all Advertising team members with appropriate contacts
  • Other administrative duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fashion and/or Retail experience recommended
  • Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Enthusiastic and strong work ethic 
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask effectively 
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
  • Creative and proactive communication skills  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced on-time deliverable environment
