Job Description

The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for further establishing the brand’s position and resonance with the modern consumer, consistently across channels and regions, through various communication channels and strategies. Success in the role will come from a strong knowledge of global omni-channel markets and management of global campaigns. He/she will partner closely with global design, merchandising, advertising, media, social media, PR, and with regional teams across North America, Europe and Asia.

  • Curate the seasonal marketing strategy for assigned businesses by connecting the design and commercial vision to the storytelling arch

  • Engage with the brand & divisional leads to understand and develop brand strategies that will support growth in the business divisions

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer and develop integrated seasonal campaigns that cut through to our consumer through each channel

  • Collaborate with the global merchandising and design to ensure that the marketing for each brand is aligned with the seasonal vision of the brand & product

  • Collect and analyze global market information, drawing conclusions on market trends and customer dynamics, and defining opportunities for our brands

  • Establish an infrastructure and process to coordinate divisional marketing plans and ensure that exposure is maximized across regions and channels

  • Work in partnership with creative leads to guide the development of creative & marketing concepts that can be executed globally according to the brand strategies and to meet the business goals

  • Cultivate partnerships with creative and design to develop and execute digital story telling for the brand in a manner that is appropriate and catered to each platform in the digital eco-system.

  • Clear, consistent, timely communication to regional & divisional stakeholders of strategies & plans and, thereafter, changes to plans

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 4+ years professional experience in fashion marketing/communications, agency experience a plus

  • Strong interest in fashion and lifestyle branding

  • A strong team player and self starter - collaborative, proactive, and enthusiastic to drive teams to results

  • Diplomatic and solution-oriented approach

  • Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and project management skills

  • Strong follow through with attention to detail

  • Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Ability to contribute creative, innovative ideas and solutions

  • Naturally curious and inquisitive with a creative mindset and analytical ability

  • Demonstrates humility, not feeling above any person or job task

  • A listener who reserves judgment until understanding all sides

  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills with experience producing content for presentations

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
