Job Description

Cuyana is looking for a Head of Editorial to lead the strategy and execution of content across every channel.


  • Create and execute the editorial calendar across every customer touch point
  • Drive content strategy that reflects brand framework, seasonal themes, and individual product launches
  • Ensure a cohesive content experience across every channel: seasonal catalog, print, email, blog, ecommerce, social media, retail, partnership/collaboration, and press
  • Work collaboratively across Design, Merchandising, Marketing and Digital Products to ensure content is meeting the objectives of each team
  • Manage the creation of assets for all content: ensure that each story, launch, and detail is accounted for on set and delivered on time
  • Write and edit copy across every area of the business
  • Maintain an elevated brand voice by channel through established house style, tone, and messaging framework
  • Own the strategy and execution of content across every social media channel
  • Drive campaigns to grow audience engagement and following across touch points

The Ideal Candidate


  • Minimum 5-7 years of content and editorial experience, preferably in fashion/lifestyle
  • Demonstrated passion for the fashion industry and creating premium brand experiences
  • A strong visual point of view to deliver insightful feedback on designed content
  • Ability to create innovative, strategic, and engaging content on very tight timelines
  • Experience creating and leading an omnichannel content experience
  • Senior-level copywriter with a strong understanding of clothing and textiles: silhouettes, fabrications, constructions, and details
  • Ability to identify current trends in the industry and strategically position Cuyana among them
  • Strong analytical skills to leverage customer engagement and optimize content
  • Fluent understanding of social media trends and best practices
  • Always engaged and able to monitor content channels and act quickly
  • A proven understanding of balancing marketing and creative strategies through content
  • Start-up experience strongly preferred
