Ck Ecommerce Jr. Merchandising Planner NOS product
The ecommerce Merchandising planner contributes to the growth of the CK ecommerce business by owning the planning of the NOS (never out of stock) assortment on the official CK webshop for Europe, trading in 26 countries.
NOS product on CK falls mostly under the Underwear division and represents a vital revenue stream for the company. NOS Accessories and Apparel products are also becoming increasingly important.
The planner provides strategic and operational support to the ecommerce trading and merchandising team and insights from sales and web analytics facts.
The position reports into the CK Ecommerce Trading and Planning Director.
Management of NOS (never out of stock) stock levels: replenishment, monitoring and tweaking replenishment levels, proactive top ups
Manage the lifecycle of NOS assortment with the relevant trading teams: ensure timely initial inbound, phase out obsolete product while maintaining revenue stream
Feed back learnings to product division in collaboration with the ecommerce trader/buyer to ensure a NOS offer stays strong and evolves with the consumer
Monthly forecasting to division: in depth range planning down to option level based on forecasting system recommendations and anticipated future developments
Collaborate with the rest of the trading and planning team to include NOS product in site merchandising initiatives (e.g. filters, navigation points, mega menu, organize product listings) to maintain rate of sale
Improve assortment productivity and stock discipline with accurate size analysis for replenishment and eventual size extensions;
Work with web analytics to share insights and create efficiencies in reporting tools and dashboards.
Share cross-divisional tasks with other ecommerce planners: trading reports, tools maintenance, ad hoc analyses
Experience and education
3+ years working experience in planning / assortment management, ideally in ecommerce
Skilled in running and processing data from multiple sources
Education background: quantitative, analytics
Software: proficient in Excel; basic SAP, HANA, BW
Working knowledge of Web analytics a plus
Experience with Adobe Omniture, data visualization packages (e.g. Tableau) a plus.
Languages: fluent English
Ability to summarize and visualize unstructured queries into a compact insight
Highly motivated and able to perform in a pressured work environment
Strong team player with excellent social skills
