Job Description

L'Apartement Ltd is a buzzing fast paced showroom which specializes in wholesale and distribution of luxury fashion. We operate out of our Battersea London showroom with  showrooms in both Paris and New York.  We are strictly wholesale and dealing with the luxury and contemporary markets worldwide.  We are an extremely small team with a lot of hands on neededx. This role is for someone able to work on their own and able to interact and negotiate well.  A good sense of the commercial world and love of figures are the attributes best required and should be demonstrated.  This is a commercial role. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow within the company and take on logistics/operations role at a more senior level.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Exciting opportunity to begin and progress in growing distribution/wholesale company. ·       Managing shipments and all accompanying paperwork - invoicing, delivery notes and returns. Ensuring HTS codes, OCCs and all other customs requirements are met.  ·       Assisting MD in budget planning and pricing.  ·       Oversea all deliveries, buying and ordering processes ·       Maintain an accurate and up to date sales ledgers and reconciling invoices·       Responsible for allocations and sending pick ticket instructions to the warehouse and managing the output of the warehouse meets agreed deadlines and shipping requirements from customers; ·       Responsible for day to day administration of the commercial department including running of weekly reports for such as shipping and stock value reports, uploading invoices and POD's to portal and chasing payments ·       Working with factories to provide accurate and frequent delivery / inbound forecasts to clients and warehouse ·       Managing and communicate production deliveries to the business and corresponding warehouses. Ensure the goods arrive from vendors in a commercially acceptable state (barcoded and with relevant tags). Ensure all receipts are booked into the internal system in a timely manner. ·       Deal with stock queries, delivery discrepancies and returns ·       Update stock adjustment, discount and cancellation records for accurate reports

The Ideal Candidate

PROFILE

To be successful in this role, you will:

·       Must be experienced in a wholesale environment, preferably in fashion ·       Have previous Logistics experience minimum 2 years  ·       Good numerical skills are essential for this role ·       Be very proficient in MS office, particularly Excel ·       Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail ·       Have strong commercial instinct and negotiation skills ·       Enjoy working within a small office ·       Have strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills ·       Solid knowledge of shipping/customs regulations and requirements (CITES, WADS, MID, HTS,COO, IPR, EX1) ·       Good IT proficiency, particularly with MAC system ·       This is a great opportunity to develop your career in Logistics within a growing company
