Job Description

The Atelier Swarovski team are looking for a strong Head of Global Operations to join our London based Head Office team. The role will report to the Managing Director of Atelier Swarovski and will come from a strong operational brand leadership background.

The Head of Global Operations will work to drive and monitor all operational and logistical matters of the Atelier Swarovski brand from a global perspective. The successful candidate will oversee the legal, financial and governance aspects, as well as processes behind the Atelier Swarovski business in all it’s product categories.

Main duties will include but are not limited to:

Operations and Logistics

  • Evaluating and implementing operational and logistical solutions, to maximise team efficiency at minimal costs
  • Overseeing all stock management with Swarovski Distribution Centers to ensure efficient and effective flow of finished products in an omni-channel perspective
  • Launching production of ordered pieces in collaboration with the Production team
  • Monitoring deliveries of products from manufacturers in collaboration with Production team

Product Life Cycle

  • Oversee product life cycle from the development through shop live to retirement
  • Liaise with Global Master Data to ensure all amendments including cost and pricing are reflected in the system

Legal Matters

  • Ensure Atelier Swarovski is compliant with the corporate rules and local laws (eg. corporate governance, legal entities, hallmarking, import requirements)

Swarovski Consumer Goods Business Relationship Management

  • Maintaining a strong working relationship and communication with Swarovski Consumer Goods Business retail central and local country teams
  • Monitor the growth of the Atelier Swarovski Business year on year in Swarovski Consumer Good Business unit (total sales, number of units, and number of doors)
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other selling tools relating to Atelier Swarovski products in Swarovski Consumer Good Business
  • Liaising with all departments to define, design and deploy all elements for the successful launches every season (from Collection review to end of the season)

Key Results Areas (KRA):

  • Alongside VP and MD of AS accountable for the successful launch of Atelier Swarovski in all product categories
  • Accountable for effective planning, implementation and controlling tools to help drive wholesale and retail sales to build retailer and consumer confidence in Atelier Swarovski, and promote a long-term sustainable brand
  • Accountable for sound Finance & Administration processes and legal setup of Atelier Swarovski
  • Responsible for maintaining a strong and collaborative relationship with Swarovski Consumer Goods retail and distribution centers

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set and experience: ​

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 10+ years with a strong commercial and operational experience proficiency
  • Experience in luxury goods / jewelry sector desirable
  • German is beneficial but not essential
  • Understanding of finance and legal compliance essential
  • Ability to work for emerging brand within corporate matrix environment
