Job Description

This position will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of global sourcing strategies to support the company's global IT strategies while leveraging the sizable IT spend. The candidate will work closely with the business, IT, Retail and Corporate functions.

  • Procurement of large dollar ($500k-$5MM) IT contracts for software, hardware, telecom and consulting/outsourcing services

  • Negotiate strong contracts to optimize cost, reduce risk and enhance the company's agility both globally and locally.

  • Find and execute cost savings opportunities by working with business unit leaders, finance and IT managers to explore the spend data from their business units and any savings or transformation targets that they may have.

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities

  • Promote the competitive sourcing process, initiate RFQ's to Suppliers, Evaluate Supplier cost proposals and recommend business awards

  • Adhere to corporate standards of reporting for cost savings and avoidance.

  • Meet regularly with Global business leads and global procurement teams to identify Global (Enterprise) licensing opportunities

  • Remain current on new technologies, suppliers, licensing and financial concepts

  • Experience creating high quality recommendations and presentations based on robust analysis

  • Ability to identify and execute cost-saving and process improvement opportunities

  • Advanced skills to conduct mathematical and other quantitative analyses

  • Excellent data management/analysis skills

  • Ability to adapt and understand different cultures and impact on business requirements on different geographies and stakeholder groups.

The Ideal Candidate

University Degree

6 Years of experience

20% Travel

(CPP) nice but not required

Global procurement experience negotiating and contracting with major IT suppliers. High level of verbal and written communication skills, ability to conduct presentations to large audiences.
