About Us

Nili Lotan is a critically acclaimed Israeli-born and New York-based ready-to-wear fashion designer. Born and raised in Israel, Lotan’s influences remain rooted in her upbringing, inspired by a love for style from an early age. After graduating from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv, Lotan moved to New York where she lead design teams for some of the industry's most iconic names, including Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne and Nautica.  Lotan launched her eponymous label in 2003, grounded in the belief that a woman's wardrobe should function as an extension of herself. Lotan’s design philosophy is that clothes should be clean, sophisticated and functional. A designer should offer a woman elements for her own self-expression.  Through the years Nili Lotan evolved into a lifestyle brand, supporting her clientele with a timeless and sophisticated wardrobe fit for both day and night, both elegant and casual spaces. Her work strikes a signature balance between effortless, powerful, minimal, and sexy. Lotan’s collections are pure in design, expertly tailored and rich in materials and details.  Lotan’s collections are continually inspired by her personal sensibilities, her creative environment, her own lifestyle and that of her customers. With her design studio, flagship store, and home in TriBeCa, Lotan’s work is shaped by the intimacy and neighborhood experience of downtown Manhattan.  Nili Lotan has retail locations in TriBeCa, on Madison Ave and in East Hampton, NY and the collection can be found at specialty boutiques and upscale department stores throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia and is an ever-reliable resource for celebrities, stylists and editors.  Lotan is a mother of three and lives in Tribeca with her husband, renowned Israeli singer songwriter, David Broza.
