We are currently seeking to meet with candidates for an opportunity as a Team Manager supporting our Ground Floor Concession within our Selfridges Department store, based in London. As a key member of the management team reporting directly into the Store Manager, in one of our most high-profile locations, you must have demonstrated experience (at the Assistant Store Manager level or above) motivating teams to increased performance, positively influencing commercial KPIs, and fostering loyal client relationships. Prior experience in a department store would be beneficial, but is not required, however experience operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex environment is essential.
The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate for this role, you may currently be working at the Store Manager, Area Manager, or Assistant Store Manager or equivalent. You will have demonstrated superb sales leadership skills in respect to building your personal client portfolio, driving client repurchase rates & cross-selling, thus ensuring that all business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management.
You will have a proven track record of recruiting, coaching and developing team members, partnering with HR on Employee Relations issues, and have made meaningful movement on critical KPIs in your business by providing management with data and industry expertise in relation to customer needs and business opportunities and by developing and implementing strategies to maximize product performance by leveraging visual merchandising, clienteling, training and team animations.
