OBJECTIVE:                                         

To maximize sales, by striving to be the best, at providing excellence in Customer Service, Visual Presentation and creating a memorable brand experience

POSITION PURPOSE:

To lead, train, manage and motivate the store team to achieve sales in line with set budgets

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:SALES:

  • To execute Zimmermann “Shopping Experience” training program without exception
  • To ensure customer satisfaction is achieved by every single team member
  • To achieve the required consistent standard sales & the brand expectations of KPI’s as follows:
  • Sales = LY, STD, YTD and Forecast
  • Salaries = hourly budget
  • Shrinkage to budget
  • Link sales (multiple sales)
  • Average $ per transaction
  • To analyze the store sales and take necessary action to maximize sales opportunities
  • To build solid customer relations to generate strong Customer database

CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS:

  • To optimize every opportunity to grow your client base and acquire new high value clients
  • To demonstrate exemplary standards of client service at all times and to all clients (VIPs and non-VIPs), in line with brand and department standards

TEAM: TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE

  • To motivate and coach all team members to achieve their maximum potential
  • To provide consistent feedback to the team on their performance including conducting appraisals and performance development plans

STOCK INVENTORY, SHRINKAGE & LOSS PREVENTION

  • To ensure that all team members have a thorough understanding of the procedures relating to loss prevention.
  • To have a high level of awareness of the store’s SOH and ensure team awareness

RECRUITMENT:

  • To ensure that the Recruitment Process is place according to Zimmermann P&P

VISUAL MERCHANDISING & STORE MAINTENANCE:

  • To ensure that a consistent high standard of Visual Presentation is achieved and reflective of the brand directive

OH&S:

  • To promote and uphold the non-negotiable standards of the OH&S policy and act at all times
  • To ensure any incidents related to OH&S are reported in an appropriate and timely

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Achievement of sales, salaries, shrinkage, link sales and average $ per transaction budgets
  • Customer Satisfaction is consistent achieved
  • Team Attendance and Punctuality
  • Stores costs are controlled according to budget
  • Team members are developed through training and mentoring
  • Store visual presentation meets the guidelines
  • Succession plans are in place for the team
  • Zimmermann’s Policy and Procedures are adhered to
  • No customer complaints, including Online customer

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 2-5 years previous luxury retail experience

Demand from its growing international clients has seen the opening of Zimmermann stores in the United States. In 2011, Zimmermann opened its first US store on Robertson Boulevard, in Los Angeles. The brand now has five US stores located on Mercer Street in New York City, East Hampton, Americana Manhasset, Robertson Boulevard, and in June 2015, launched its new Los Angeles flagship on Melrose Place.

ZIMMERMANN Headquarters are located in Sydney, while the brand also operates offices and showrooms in New York, Los Angeles and London. Zimmermann has been the recipient of multiple fashion awards, including the Australian Fashion Laureate award, amongst others.
