Job Description

Head of Sales @ Andrea Fohrman LLC: She or He will be responsible for cultivating, developing and maintaining wholesale relationships with new and existing customers. They will be Lead for sales and customer strategies to achieve revenue targets for the company. They will manage sales operation and oversee the sales order processes in various stages. The ideal candidate will be an expert in wholesale jewelry in the luxury sector who is passionate about the company's mission and who will match the energy of our dynamic team.ResponsibilitiesCustomers & Relationships

  • Cultivate, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design, and Production
  • Ability to introduce company to new accounts opportunities globally –
  • Ensure proper in-store execution of sales and merchandising strategies
  • Drive new business through collaborations/private label partnerships with other brands and/or retailers 

Operations & Results

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets with a strong sales and account strategy
  • Accountable to CEO for quarterly and yearly sales growth targets
  • Manage daily review of shipments, orders, changes in distribution and deliveries for each account with sales and production assistant; secure and ensure timely fulfillment of all orders with Production Team
  • Conduct weekly review of selling data, and share data with internal teams
  • Attend regional and international trade shows as necessary
  • Travel to customer locations to meet with key accounts
  • Work with customers to ensure proper in-store execution and manage in-store events as necessary

Strategy & Innovation

  • Cultivate new accounts, and seek opportunities to expand business with existing accounts; identify and secure new markets
  • Monitor relevant trends in merchandising and communicate to internal partners
  • Partner with customers to communicate and execute brand positioning and key strategic initiatives for the brand
  • Strategize and innovate on needs to activate sales with other team members ie from sales materials to marketing strategy 

The Ideal Candidate

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in wholesale jewelry sales 
  • Brings strong relationships and network with the retail industry – luxury market preferred 
  • Prior experience with Specialty Stores, Boutiques and Online retailers 
  • Opportunity to grow an established brand with existing accounts and pre-existing awareness
  • Dynamic personality / Seller with ability to negotiate and close large sales with luxury accounts and customers 
  • Superior leadership, organizational, and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
  • Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math
  • Willingness to travel, including weekends (up to 30%)
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
