Job Description

MONIQUE PÉAN is seeking applicants for the role of in-house Wholesale and Private sales associate. The ideal candidate is an intuitive self-starter with strong time management skills who works well under pressure and in fast-paced environments. Applicants with fine jewelry, luxury or agency experience are preferred. A strong interest in sustainability and philanthropy is also desired.

This position will allow candidates to learn key aspects of sales and will allow for daily interaction with the entire MONIQUE PÉAN sales team, COO and CEO. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to self-motivate and strong organizational skills. 

The sales associate shall provide services which include, but are not limited to:

  1. Assist with all sales strategy, implementation, fulfillment and collections for the company
  2. Assist and maintain log books for all shipping
  3. Assist with direct sales orders and fulfillment
  4. Assist with wholesale account inquiries
  5. Assist in maintenance of various log books, charts and reference resources
  6. Work with internal and external PR team on marketing initiatives to drive sales
  7. Assist with the coordination of sales-related travel and planning for tradeshows and sales events
  8. Assist on sales correspondence
  9. Assist the sales team and work with the CEO and COO on analyzing sales projections for domestic and international stockists
  10. Assist with the systematic creation of line sheets for vendors and direct customers
  11. Support the creation of and maintenance of a special order process for accuracy and efficiency
  12. Assist with all international sales efforts
  13. Assist with Special Projects as needed

The Ideal Candidate

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with a fine jewelry or luxury brand is preferable
  • Computer Skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Fashion GPS and Adobe Suite highly desirable
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done; especially when important deadlines and events cause greater than normal pressures
