  YOUR SCOPE

Become a senior member and leader of our Corporate Development Team with a spike in strategic thinking and shaping the future.

Work together with ~15 highly talented team members towards tripling our business within the next five years from 7bn€ to 20bn€ GMV.

  • Ecommerce & Digital Strategy (your area of focus)
  • Project & Process Management
  • Mergers & Acquisitions

Identify, evaluate, prepare and execute disruptive moves that help us to

  • deliver on our existing strategy to become ‘the starting point for fashion’
  • build the ‘next big thing’, going beyond the current scope of our strategy

Play a vital role in establishing the new Corporate Development Team as a core function that enjoys a great reputation within Zalando.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Own and drive the strategy process for the Group, enabling the Management Board to own the Group Strategy. Be the thought leader with respect to the company’s strategy and it’s long-term plan
  • Challenge our most senior leadership group to think differently by bringing in fresh perspectives and transformational ideas
  • Actively provide transformational and disruptive value creation opportunities based on improvements and efficiency measures within the company
  • Identify areas of possible competitive action and develop strategies which could include organic and inorganic steps
  • Generate actionable insights on innovation, competition, and general market developments to constantly fuel the company with new ideas
