The Consumer and Strategy Manager will help the Strategy team develop long-term strategies to grow the Calvin Klein North America business and drive revenue and profit across the division. He or she will report into the Sr Manager of Consumer & Analytics Strategy and will support the Group President of Calvin Klein North America & The Underwear Group and the leadership team to achieve overarching strategic goals.

  • Manage strategic planning cycle by preparing annual strategy definition and budget as well as monthly management updates
  • Work with the businesses to develop and implement strategic initiatives that will drive business growth and operational efficiencies
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and recommendations through accurate data gathering, analysis and modelling
  • Identify and assess potential business development opportunities (partnerships, M&A, etc.), developing the business case and modelling the financials
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the underwear industry and market trends, competitive dynamics and consumers. Communicate insights effectively to senior management
  • Prepare high-quality presentations for senior management in a timely manner
  • Foster the development of team members through sharing of knowledge and best practices
  • Help to influence the Design, Technical Design, and Marketing teams to create unified product strategies
  • Collect useful data inputs such as macro and competitive data, consumer behavior, digital marketing, social, etc. in order to translate into strategic and actionable insights for the Calvin Klein North America business
  • Help implement measureable tracking and reporting, holding cross-functional teams accountable

Exceptional professional with at least 5 years of experience ideally in consumer apparel/retail environment


Bachelor’s Degree in related required


  • Practical and technical aspects of consumer research design and analysis
  • Knowledge of statistics, econometrics, machine learning, simulation or related field
  • Understanding of consumer demand modelling
  • Ability to translate business needs into research agenda
  • Ability to translate statistical and analytical results into a clear, simple and actionable insights
  • Ability to synthesize across multiple insights from different sources and create a compelling story
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills
