Job Description


We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced wholesale professional to manage and grow the wholesale business for a high-profile premium womenswear fashion brand. The wholesale manager will be a crucial part of a small, dynamic and fast growing team based in London, and will be working with major department stores and boutiques in the UK as well as internationally.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and run a successful international wholesale strategy
  • Ensure the professional running of end to end processes of the department including order taking, administrative, logistics and financial matters
  • Manage relationships with new and existing buyers throughout the season
  • Present new collections to premium retail buyers both in London and internationally (organise showroom, schedule and manage appointments, lias with buyers and take orders)
  • Oversee customer orders, deliveries and shipments, ensuring they are fulfilled correctly and on time
  • Monitor customers’ stock levels, sell through and performance and quickly act on information to place reorders, make possible stock rotations or other sales driving activities
  • Ensure the brand is represented in line with the company’s ambitious standards 
  • Organise and carry out store visits, staff training, and in store events and brand building promotions
  • Develop and work towards budgets and sales target in agreement with the directors of the company to ensure profitable growth
  • Present sales reports and findings to the team on a regular basis
  • Prepare and present sales analysis and reports, with style information that can be useful to merchandising and design teams to forecast development and consumer behaviour
  • Research new markets and prospective clients and together with Head of Operations develop and implement wholesale growth strategies
  • Ensure information in the ERP as well as CRM system is constantly updated 

The Ideal Candidate

Candidate’s background

  • At least 3 years’ experience of wholesale management in the premium / luxury fashion sector
  • Excellent knowledge of global premium / luxury wholesale sector
  • Strong network of wholesale accounts
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and all MS Office applications
