Creativity, innovation, know-how, quality: these are the keywords for IED Fashion, a school that points the way for its students to live and feel the sense of fashion as an interaction between different perspectives and as a combination of different professional skills.
The Italian fashion system is made up of more than 90,000 firms and 800,000 jobs and IED Fashion is a complete, exhaustive response to the increasingly diversified and specialised training requirements expressed by this system. Cross-fertilisation and completeness of teaching methods, which combine theory with practice: this is the philosophy behind IED educational system. For this reason, IED maintains valuable relationships with companies and professionals working in the Italian fashion business, such as Valentino, Armani, Versace, Prada, Benetton, Diesel, Fendi, Vogue Italia, Dior, Calvin Klein, Pull & Bear and many more.
Every year, 10.000 students pass through our classrooms and IED follows them until they become real fashion professionals. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino's creative Directors, Vincenzo Lattanzio Fashion Designer at Prada, Alessia Melioli Fashion Accessories Designer at Giorgio Armani, Luca Bruni Bossio Senior Jewelry Designer at Versace are proudly IED alumni.
IED Istituto Europeo di Design is not just about Fashion, but also Design, Visual Arts and Communication: a wide offer of courses that develops creativity through its range of Undergraduate, Master and Advanced training courses. IED is an international network of schools in Italy (Milan, Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Turin and Venice), in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) and Brazil (Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro).
