Kristina Fidelskaya: A Regional Innovator with Global Ambition

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Since 2014, Kristina Fidelskaya has sought to target a growing segment in the Dubai market by creating high-end ready-to-wear designs to suit the multi-faceted lifestyles of a well-heeled metropolitan customer. The brand has experienced double digit sales growth year-on-year and gained strong traction in regional press. Behind the brand’s early success is its open-minded attitude to opportunity and willingness to think big. Now seeking to expand in the European, American and Asian markets through wholesale and operating a showroom in Milan, Kristina Fidelskaya is also planning retail openings in both its native market and Europe.

In addition to being stocked at influential retailers such as Galleries Lafayette, the brand has entered into a number of successful collaborations with companies including MAC and Sensation. Working in a diverse and dynamic team in a growing business, employees are given the opportunity to tailor their career paths to take advantage of the consistently evolving opportunities as well as being empowered to achieve results through shared ambition and individual ingenuity. BoF sits down with Rahim Shah, CEO of Kristina Fidelskaya, to hear how he intends to take the brand global, and what talent he needs to do it.

BoF: How would you define the company culture of Kristina Fidelskaya?

There are four pillars that the company culture is built upon. The first is vision. We believe a great company culture is built upon a well-developed vision that not only sounds good but also provides purpose. We cater to modern-day women and our designs and garments are tailored to those who have multi-faceted lives: family oriented, successful career women with active social lives. Our employees all stand behind our brand and what it stands for, which is very important.
