Lucas Hugh launched in London as an exclusive technical sportswear and lifestyle brand in July 2010. It is now sold in over 50 outlets including some of the world’s leading department stores - Harrods, London; Harvey Nichols, Kuwait; and Bergdorf Goodman, New York. Brand awareness rocketed following ‘The Hunger Games - Catching Fire’ film which prominently featured the label.

LUCAS HUGH has maintained a strong design ethos - to produce quality, high performance products that respond to the challenges of sport with the strength and grace demanded by the wearer.

Creative Director Anjhe Mules founded the label, with the concept of incorporating high fashion ready-to-wear into technical athletic-wear. Born in New Zealand, Anjhe studied at Massey University Fashion College. After graduating she moved to New York before settling in London. A former swimwear designer and Alexander McQueen intern, Mules trained with some of fashions most influential designers.

She draws on her knowledge of technical and stretch fabrics and the inspiration of her personal commitment to an active body and mind. Her designs express that inspiration stylistically and functionally for the uniquely LUCAS HUGH blend of art and science, most explicit in the signature print collaborations with artists and photographers.
