Marcolin produces and distributes sunglasses and eyeglasses with brands that are among the leaders in their segments, resulting in products that reflect the identity of each brand. The company practices a craftsmanship model aimed to increase and communicate coherence and confidence to all stakeholders.

The origins of Marcolin date back to 1961 in Italy when Giovanni Marcolin founded the "Fabbrica Artigiana" in the Cadore area (Veneto), in the eyewear district, which specialized in the making of gold laminated arms for eyewear. After only three years, the company became Marcolin Occhiali Doublé, named after the laminate used in its products in order to emphasize the success of this idea.

In 1967, Marcolin opened a factory in Vallesella di Cadore and launched its first line of products. The ensuing years were crucial for the overseas development of the company, which grew in the United States and European markets, acquiring new licenses and becoming a worldwide leading eyewear company.

Currently, the Marcolin portfolio of brands under license includes: Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Ermenegildo Zegna, Agnona, Montblanc, Roberto Cavalli, Tod's, Swarovski, DSquared2, Diesel, 55DSL, Just Cavalli, Cover Girl, Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction and Timberland. The Group's own brands include Marcolin, National, and Web.
