Company Snapshot

Westminster has an outstanding reputation for developing highly talented, and original fashion graduates and our alumni include Christopher Bailey, President and Chief Creative Officer at Burberry; Katie Hillier, Creative Director for Hillier Bartley; Jutta Kraus, Creative Director of Bernhard Willhelm; and Stuart Vevers, Creative Director of Coach. In recent years we have also produced a new wave of designers who show at London Fashion Week including Claire Barrow, Ashley Williams, Liam Hodges, Katie Ann McGuigan and Roberta Einer.

Our students undertake internships with the world’s leading fashion companies, including Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Celine, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Kenzo, Dior, Balmain, Adidas, Lanvin, Givenchy, and Balenciaga.

Our BA Fashion Business Management course was designed specifically to meet the needs of the fashion retail industry,  and was developed in collaboration with industry. Active practitioners teach our students in a research-intensive environment and study alongside students in film, photography, music, art and journalism.

At postgraduate level, we launched the world's only two-year MA Menswear course in 2016, directed by Ike Rust, formally Head of Menswear at the Royal College of Art.

The MA Fashion Business Management course is designed to equip students with the strategic decision-making, leadership and problem-solving skills to become an entrepreneurial and visionary fashion business leader of the future.  The course offers inside knowledge of industry strategies and cultures on a global basis, combined with critical business skills and essential fashion industry management knowledge.
