Boundary-breaking model Ellie Goldstein has made history as the first model with Down’s Syndrome to feature in major international campaigns for brands like Gucci Beauty and Adidas, building a platform to drive greater inclusivity throughout the industry along the way.
Goldstein path to fashion came through a passion for the arts. She started acting in school plays at age five and went on to appear in productions at the Royal Opera House and Royal Albert Hall. At 15, she joined Zebedee Management, an agency that focuses on models with disabilities. In November 2019, she was scouted for her biggest gig to date: Gucci Beauty and Vogue Italia picked Goldstein to be part of its digital editorial, “Unconventional Beauty,” shot by David PD Hyde.
The 20-year-old has gone on to be featured on the covers of magazines including Glamour, Elle, Mission Mag and Europhia. She’s been shot in campaigns for Primark, Laura Mercier and Nike and named an ambassador for Adidas.
