Fran Summers is one of the modelling industry’s new faces to watch. The Spring/Summer 2018 favourite made her debut at J.W. Anderson and has since graced the covers of British and Italian Vogue, and walked the runway for the likes of Chanel, Dior and Valentino.
Originally from Richmond in Yorkshire, UK, Summers was scouted in London’s Westfield shopping centre at the age of 15 by a makeup artist for MAC, who took her to Storm Model Management on her next day off. Summers told Vogue she was offered a contract “on the spot” when she walked into the agency. While Storm is her mother agency, Summer is also signed by Ford Models in Paris, New York and LA. Summer is on models.com’s Hot List and is one of the most booked models for runway this year.
She had her first high-profile runway appearance for Christopher Kane ’s Spring/Summer 2017 show, which quickly resulted in a high demand for Spring/Summer 2018 shows. Summer has since walked for Chloé, J.W. Anderson and Louis Vuitton , as well as gracing the catwalks of Valentino, Fendi, Chanel, Dior and Givenchy for haute couture 2018. Lent the title of the most in-demand new face of 2018, the model has also starred in campaigns for Versace, Prada and Marc Jacobs , featured in numerous editorials and graced the covers of several international Vogue magazines, Dazed & Confused, Interview magazine and The Sunday Times Style.
