Jessica Michault is editor-in-chief of Antidote, a biannual fashion magazine. Previously, Michault was editor-in-chief of NOWFASHION, and in charge of all editorial content for the show image website. Michault told Fashionista, “Getting runway images and video up live, as the shows are happening, is the next evolutionary step of the world we work in. I plan on giving the site an editorial direction that will incorporate the powerful images the site already produces with insightful interviews, show reviews, one to one video profiles with designers and… looking forward…interactive photo spreads.”
Prior to her role at NOWFASHION, Michault was at The International Herald Tribune for 16 years, where she started as a research assistant. Based in Paris, Michault worked with Suzy Menkes covering the shows, writing editorial features for the paper’s style pages and completing special reports on the luxury and watch markets. Whilst at the paper Michault was appointed online style editor, the journalist also films a weekly fashion segment for France 24 television.
In addition to the International Herald Tribune, Michault's work has been published in the New York Times, Italian Vogue, Vogue Japan, Harper's Bazaar Brazil, GQ Germany, Designaré and Elite Traveler magazine.
Michault was born and raised in San Francisco but has been based in Paris for many years, where she lives with her husband and three daughters.
