Olivier Bourgis and Mesh Chhibber previously handled public relations for a portfolio of fashion and lifestyle brands as managing partners of RMO, which operated within the fashion marketing group Saturday. The duo counted designers and brands such as Giles Deacon, Y-3, Huishan Zhang , Nicholas Kirkwood and Thomas Tait among their list of clients.
Having previously worked in communications first at John Galliano , Chloé, and finally at Stella McCartney , the duo parted ways with the designer to open their own agency MO in 2003.
In 2008, Bourgis and Chhibber joined forces with London based agency Relative PR, owned by Justine Fairgrieve. The merger granted the Saturday group, Relative’s parent company, a majority shareholding in MO and the company was rebranded as Relative MO. The agency became known for its ability to spot and help launch top tier emerging talent, having worked with Christopher Kane , Erdem, and Mary Katrantzou .
Fairgrieve left the company in 2012 and the company was rebranded RMO. The company operated from offices based in London and Paris, and in April 2013 announced a partnership with New York based PR firm Wetherly Fashion, extending their presence to the North American market. In 2014, fashion and lifestyle communications agency Patriksson Communication, which has offices in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen, took a majority stake in RMO.
In 2013, Bourgis founded and is director of his own agency Olivier Bourgis Communication & Marketing, or OBCM, a communication agency specialising in fashion, public relations and events for international brands, based in Paris. Clients include Adidas, Bimba y Lola, John Galliano, Y-3, Samsøe & Samsøe and Zalando.
In 2014, Chhibber partnered with costume designer Sofie Cornillon to launch Peau de Chagrin, a limited edition handcraft handbag line.
