Yadim secured his first solo job working on a cover-shoot alongside fashion photographer Sharif Hamza for the October 2010 cover of Dazed & Confused. By 2011, the young artist was working on three M.A.C. Cosmetics-sponsored shows at New York Fashion Week, creating the make-up for Faster by Mark Fast, Araks and Yigal Azrouël. Yadim has since collaborated on numerous editorials and magazine covers for publications such as American Vogue, 10 Magazine, AnOther, CR Fashion Book, Industrie and Elle alongside photographers such as Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and Sølve Sundsbø. Yadim has also worked on advertising campaigns Calvin Klein , Alexander Wang and Kenzo and, in 2012, was named international make-up designer for Dior.
Yadim began his career working as a cashier assistant for M.A.C. Cosmetics in San Diego, attending the company’s in-house classes to become certified as a make-up artist. On his move to New York in 2006, the young creative secured a position as an assistant for influential make-up maven Pat McGrath , developing his skills through assisting on editorials with numerous high-profile publications and with clients such as Miu Miu, Prada and Dolce & Gabbana, before embarking on his solo venture.
Alongside make-up for fashion brands, Yadim has also collaborated with musician Lady Gaga, producing the look for her 2013 music video "Applause." Initially represented by Tim Howard Management, Yadim joined talent agency Art Partner in March 2013 alongside other prominent makeup artists such as Charlotte Tilbury and Lucia Pica .
