LCF provides one of the widest ranges of courses in fashion education, with twenty-seven full-time BA undergraduate degree courses and four integrated masters degree courses. As a result, it also has one of the largest student bodies with about 5000 students. The college continues to expand its course offering with highly specialised courses and is a leader in fashion research covering areas such as sustainable fashion practice. Despite the scope of individual courses, shortcomings in business education and work placements have negatively impacted how prepared students feel for industry employment upon graduation. However, the school looks to be remedying that with the Fashion Business School that launched in 2015. In 2020, the college will move to a new state-of-the-art facility in East London, situated in the former Olympic Park.

Student & Alumni Comments
"Overall, I found my experience at London College of Fashion an enriching one. However this is mostly due to all the facilities I could have access to — through which I could learn independently, not to the actual quality of teaching."
"My studies were filled with independent hard work, but all in all I feel prepared for working in the industry."
"A very insightful, stressful, difficult and creative experience. The main focus lay on creative practice and skills, and how to have great business acumen. Being amongst creative people all the time is an amazing energy to feed off of."
"The college can be extremely unorganised but has lots of resources to take advantage of. Lectures are either very good or pointless. The college’s career connections are good. Overall I had a positive experience."
"I have learned a lot, however I felt like it was mostly an independent experience, and I could have been so much more in touch with the industry network. I feel like I missed out on a college experience."
"They provided me with a great skill set, even though there was no help to get internships to gain some work experience."
