Fashion at Manchester School of Art is taught within the £34 million Benzie Building, which also hosts the school’s design department. The school fosters intellectual exchange between schools of art, creating an interdisciplinary environment for fashion students. The large majority of students in our survey expressed they were satisfied with their education in technical skills but did not score courses in innovation, marketing and business as highly. One hundred percent of survey participants expressed satisfaction with the accessibility of alumni, benefiting from the strong alumni network. The school is currently in the process of building relationships with Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo, with a joint project that would see students from both schools working alongside each other in visits to each institution.

Student & Alumni Comments
"It has developed my skills a lot and it has given me a clearer understanding of what I want to do in the future. It has also allowed me to experience equipment I wouldn't think of trying out."
"I'm satisfied with the creative direction the course provides, but unsatisfied with the lack of space to work. The staff go out of their way to help guide students into jobs."
