Student & Alumni Comments
"I went into university unsure of what I would do, and I quickly found that anything I could think of or dream up, was available for me to pursue. That kind of diversity and freedom is what really allowed me to find my voice as a designer."
"Because of the nonconventional fashion setting, I believe there was a lot more personal exploration. However, because it is relatively removed from NYC, it is really upon the students themselves to push for internships/jobs."
"Very demanding but very rewarding. The professors push you to get you outside of your comfort zone, so you can grow. Professors are eager to help and class sizes are small, making the learning experience worth the price."
"The Fashion Marketing & Management programme has an array of resources from fashion designers, photographers, digital media experts, retail management experts, and more that make the program special compared to any other school. Everything about what we do at SCAD is hands on, from freshman year forward. "
"There are some improvements to be made at SCAD with regards to its career services, facilities and study abroad opportunities. If you aren't an independent person with a go-getter attitude, you will not find yourself pleased with your degree post-graduation. It is up to the individual to find a job, career services are of no help for certain majors. "
